Yes. CaulkTech operates with fully licensed professional applicators and carries comprehensive public liability and workers' compensation insurance for all projects.

Pricing & Quotes

Pricing depends on the scope — number of joints, sealant type, access requirements, and surface preparation needed. We provide detailed, transparent quotes after reviewing your plans or photos. Most residential jobs range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars.
Share your plans, photos, or a description of the work via our contact form or email. We'll respond with a detailed proposal including material recommendations, colour matching, and a timeline — typically within 24 hours.
Most quotes can be provided from plans and photos. For larger commercial or complex remedial scopes, we may arrange a free site inspection to ensure accuracy.

Process & Timeline

Most residential jobs are completed in 1–2 days. Commercial and strata projects vary depending on scope but are scheduled to minimise disruption. We'll confirm the timeline in your quote.
We follow a four-step process: (1) Scope and quote — we review your project and provide a detailed proposal. (2) Prepare and apply — surfaces are cleaned, backer rods installed, and joints are tooled neatly. (3) QA and handover — completion checks, tidy site, and workmanship assurance. (4) Maintenance guidance for long-term performance.
For internal work, we ask that the areas are accessible and cleared of personal items where possible. For new builds, we coordinate with your builder or project manager to schedule around other trades.

Products & Technical

We select the appropriate sealant for each application — sanitary silicone for wet areas, neutral-cure for natural stone, polyurethane or hybrid sealants for high-movement joints, and tested fire-rated systems for compliance work. We only use professional-grade products from reputable manufacturers.
Yes. We offer colour-matched sealants for internal wet areas and can source custom colours for specific projects. We'll recommend the best match during the quoting process.
Our fire-rated sealing is installed to AS 4072.1 using systems tested to AS 1530.4 and aligned with NCC C3.15 requirements. All work follows relevant Australian building standards and manufacturer specifications.

Warranty & Aftercare

Yes. All CaulkTech work comes with a workmanship guarantee. Warranty terms vary by project type and materials — we'll confirm the specifics in your proposal. Product warranties from manufacturers also apply.
With the right product and proper preparation, most sealant joints last 10–15 years internally and 7–10 years externally (depending on UV, movement, and exposure). We provide maintenance guidance for high-exposure joints.
Signs it's time include visible cracking, peeling, discolouration, mould that won't clean, or gaps forming between the sealant and substrate. We can assess existing seals and advise on the best approach.
